A thrilling game for the Bengals as they take down Valley Forge 7-6 in the 7th. The game ended with a walk-off single by Sophomore Daniel Keenan. Great day on the bats for Keenan as well as Sophomore Connor O'Donnel and Senior Nolan Hopkins. Keenan went 3-3 with 4 RBIs, O'Donnel went 2-3, and Hopkins went 1-3 with 2 RBIs. Bengals lose a tough one to Hoban last night. A lot of mental mistakes by the Bengals added on to the lack of bats for a 7-0 loss. Junior Anthony Jim got his first start of the season and did a great job, but the team didn't have the defense to back him up. The team's offense wasn't clicking either except for Sophomore Max Monachino's 3 for 3 night. Tonight's game v. Padua has been cancelled due to poor field conditions. The Bengals lose to Cardinal Mooney today 10-1. Senior Spencer Furlich on the mound in the beginning followed by Seniors Michael Boehm and Chad Molnar. The bats weren't working well as the team had trouble getting the offense going. The only player to cross the plate was Senior Jaret Glassman who was on third when Sophomore Daniel Keenan hit him in.
